Mackenzie Sobchuk is a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist with OWL Pediatric Therapy. Mackenzie started her career in early intervention and has since practiced in a variety of settings, ranging from public school systems to acute care, evaluating and treating a wide range of populations experiencing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Mackenzie has a special interest in working with and empowering children who have complex communication needs and medical profiles. She is committed to breaking communication barriers and fostering meaningful connections for children and their families. Mackenzie stays up to date on current literature and best practices through training and continuing education.
Mackenzie received her Master of Science Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY and completed her bachelor’s degree at Elms College in Chicopee, MA. Mackenzie is licensed by the state of Massachusetts and certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
During her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling with her husband, and practicing yoga.
