Whitney Ellis, M.S., CF-SLP, holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Regis College and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies from Assumption College. Her background in human services supports a client centered and strengths based approach, allowing her to value each child as an individual and tailor therapy to their unique needs.
Through internships and clinical placements in home based, school, and private practice settings, Whitney has gained experience working with children across a wide range of communication needs. She has a strong interest in early intervention and enjoys supporting young children with social communication differences, language and speech sound disorders, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorder. Whitney is AEIOU Certified and is passionate about pediatric feeding and mealtime support.
Whitney utilizes a play based, child led therapy approach that focuses on functional, meaningful goals within a positive and supportive environment. She emphasizes collaboration with families to promote carryover and generalization of skills beyond therapy sessions.
